Freedom of Information Center - A huge resource from the University of Missouri journalism school includes recent newspaper stories utilizing FOIA or information access and guides for those who want to use local or federal FOIA laws.


The National Freedom of Information Coalition
- Joins First Amendment and open government organizations from individual states in a self-supporting alliance as they seek to protect the public's right to know through the education of media professionals, attorneys, academics, students and the general public. NFOIC nurtures start-up FOI organizations in other states.

National Security Archive - Has the world’s largest collection of declassified government documents. They do not offer much in the way of “how-to” for FOIA, but this is a highly useful site.
