Nurcan's destiny back in track (!). I was expecting a call from her to discuss this week but it seems that she had already decided (yeah, who i am to discuss as i fck up constantly). Mum told me to wear my suits as the ritual will happen tonight. Bride's family will come and officially ask for Nurcan's hand and ours will ask them to think about and then sometime later in following days engagement will take place... "Medieval Islamic artisans developed a pattern-making process for designing ornate tiled surfaces that allowed them to produce sophisticated patterns not seen in the West until centuries later, a new study suggests. Many walls of medieval Islamic buildings have ornate geometric star-and-polygon, or “girih,” patterns, often overlaid with a zig-zagging network of lines. This undated picture shows an archway from the Darb-i Imam shrine, Isfahan, Iran ( built in 1453 ) with two overlapping girih patterns. REUTERS/handout/K. Dudley and M. Elliff. ehehehe something positive about Muslims. for the article of this discovery click here...
