Top EU official to visit Turkey
Vice president of the European Commission responsible for institutional relations and communication strategies, Margot Wallström, will visit Turkey next week, reported the Anatolia news agency. Wallström is scheduled to meet some members of the Cabinet and Turkish Parliament on March 7 in Ankara. Wallström will also visit Istanbul to deliver a speech at Bilgi University. I will be there:)

EU set to start new accession talks with Turkey as EU hopes for progress in Turkey talks. In the mean time, Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD) Supreme Assessment Board (YİK) President Mustafa Koç said yesterday Turkey should set Jan. 1, 2014 as the day when Turkey will become a member of the European Union, arguing that this would mobilize all to reach the objective by that day.
