BESIKTAS UP INTO SECOND position after the victory of GS yesterday. It was a wonderful spring like day and despite my anger directed against the BJK players, we got it this time.

Erdem, Mustafa, Esra and Erkan. Some of the 'eagles' from Bilgi University....
I have a long post here in Turkish and i am a bit tired now. this could be a better post but i have had enough. back to 'serious stuff'. I am on my way to Ankara tonight and i have to fix lots stuff before leaving home. I am on my way for my highest profile interview my dear readers! Tomorrow I will talk to Oguz Demiralp, general secretary of EU Affairs for Turkish Prime Ministry. I was encouraged by a student at Bilgi who graduated last semester, who happens to be Mr. Demiralp's relative. But the interview request and scheduling took place thru the official ways and i was finally accepted. Of course, I am still grateful for my student who encouraged me to do that...
I don't like night travels but friends advised me not to take any risks. the interview will take place at 2 pm tomorrow.... So long then...

Greenpeace activists hang from the ropes as they display a banner over the tribunes as Galatasaray and Besiktas team players, who are singing the national anthem on the pitch before to their soccer match, at Inonu Stadium in Istanbul March 3, 2007. Activists [in alliance with BJK fans] unfurled a banner reading 'Turkey without nuclear' during a soccer match between two Istanbul archrivals Besiktas and Galatasaray in the Turkish Super League in Istanbul on Saturday.
